I am a professor at the division of Rheumatology, Asan Medical Center, and Seoul, Korea. My specific interests are biomarker discovery and translational research in various rheumatic diseases. Specifically, I am interested in finding biomarkers in the urine samples of patients with lupus nephritis for early detection and prognostic biomarkers for radiographic progression in ankylosing spondylitis. I want to expand my research field from bench work to practical use.
