Expressions of Interest - LUPUS 2027
The 17th International Congress on SLE (LUPUS 2027) will follow the 15th congress in Seoul, Korea in 2023 and the 16th congress in Toronto, Canada in 2025. The committee of congress chairs is now calling for expressions of interest to host this meeting. Based on the meeting history, a congress site in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa would be likely to be viewed favorably. Experience in SLE research and appropriate Congress organizational support are of course pre-requisites.
Please convey your intention to participate to the committee of congress chairs through Prof. Sang-Cheol Bae (
scbae@hanyang.ac.kr).
It would be expected that interested parties would make a presentation to the committee during the May 2023 meeting in Seoul, Korea.
The date and venue of the presentation will be announced afterward.
The interested party will be asked to make a 10 minutes presentation (10-15 slides) at the meeting of congress chairs which will be held during LUPUS & KCR 2023.
The main purpose of the bid process is to:
Highlight your goal/ vision
Statement of Merit
Demonstrate that the bidding organization has the capability and resources to stage the event
Provide additional reasons why the bidding organization should be selected over other rival bidders. For example, these additional reasons may include: Participants will have better facilities than other rival bidders (Accessibility, Landmarks, Top site)
The event has greater financial backing than rival bids
Spectators will have better facilities
